SIGMA CHI LAMBDA THETA DERBY DAYS
TO EXEMPLIFY OUR VALUES BY ENHANCING OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH ENGAGEMENT IN COOPERATIVE, GOODWILL EVENTS; SERVICE ACTIVITIES; AND FUNDRAISING FOR CHARITY.
Derby Days is a Canada and USA wide greek event where each chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity host a week-long competition for sororities on campus to raise money for local and global charities. At Sigma Chi Lamda Theta, we raise money for the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the Children’s Hospital for Eastern Ontario (CHEO). In 2017 our chapter raised almost $16500! This would not have been possible without the incredible efforts of the sororites involved: Delta Delta Delta, Alpha Phi, Theta Sigma Psi, Xi Delta Theta, Nu Sigma Pi, Zeta Theta Xi, Alpha Omicron Pi, Delta Phi Epsilon, Omega Phi Sigma, Alpha Pi Phi, Kappa Beta Gamma and Phi Sigma Sigma. We are very thankful to all of these sororities for all of their hard work and dedication.

DERBY DAYS 2019
During this year's Derby Days we decided to raise money for the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Ottawa (SASC). With the incredible work of all participating sororities, we were all able to raise $8,000 in support of their cause and initiatives. To read more about the SASC of Ottawa click the link below.
